This is a great time of the year to reflect on how your business is running and to create strategies for the year to come. Here are some questions to ask yourself as you step into the new year:
1. How did my business perform this year and what didn't work regarding strategies, time management, relationships, staffing, etc.?
2. What are some things that did work for my business and helped it thrive?
3. What are some goals for my business for next year and what would I like to achieve?
4. What steps do I need to take now in order to get me to where I want to be?
These are all critical questions that we should address time and time again, so that we can move forward to help our business grow and prosper. Think of adjustments that need to happen or of areas that may have untapped potential and provide a new place for growth. Also, do not forget about your personal New Year's resolutions:
* Prioritize "me" time - You need to take care of yourself, so you can reduce burnout. Being an entrepreneur takes a great amount of time and energy, so give yourself some downtime.
* Be intentional - Give purpose to your actions and words. This will give you more joy by making your life more fulfilling and meaningful.
* Practice patience - By doing this, you will reduce the stress and frustration that comes with rushing the processes that lead to success. You will be successful... "patience Daniel son."
* Try something new by giving something up - Maybe you want to learn a new language, or how to play and instrument, or rock climbing. Do it! You'll probably have to give up some time spent hanging out with friends or going to a sporting event, but it will be totally worth it and you'll feel great about learning a new skill.
May you and your business have a happy and prosperous year!
